We hope that you and your little ones enjoy all that playgroup has to offer this year.
The 2010 AGM was held on Monday 7th February where the amendment to the Constitution relating to the 4 year old exit age was voted in, and the Executive Committee for 2011 was appointed.
Here are a few reminders to start off the new year:
Group Contacts and Cashiers
Each group must have a Group Contact and Cashier. If you haven't already notified us as to who these are, please e-mail us.
Term 1 starts this week, 14 February and runs until Friday 8 April. There will be no playgroup on the Labour Day Public Holiday on Monday, 14th March.
Start and end dates for the remainder to the year can be found on the notice board in the hall or on this blog.
Committee meetings are held twice a term throughout the year. Attendance is compulsory for all group contacts and it is important that each group is participating in the decisions being made, contributing ideas and keeping abreast of what is coming up. All members are important to Je Joue and we love to hear your thoughts. Without the support of members, Je Joue would be unable to continue.
Meeting dates are listed on the notice board and can be also found on this blog.
Fees for the first semester (Terms 1 and 2) are to be paid by Friday, 25th February . Please pay these fees to your group cashier. If you would like to pay these directly into the Je Joue Playgroup account please e-mail us..
Fees due now are:
Cleaning fee: $5
Playgroup Victoria Insurance - $25
It is vital that all insurance money is paid and up to date. This is not only to protect each of you, but is also a condition of the rental of the church facilities.
If you are a new group please pay insurance all together to your cashier and we will pay this to Playgroup Victoria on your behalf.
If you are not new, you can pay this directly to Playgroup Victoria when your individual insurance is due for renewal. This can be done in person at Playgroup Victoria, via post or on the Playgroup Victoria website at:- http://www.playgroup.org.au/site/DefaultSite/filesystem/documents/Membership/Family%20Membership%20form.pdf
Fundraising Levy - $50
The Fundraising Levy is payable to give you exemption of all mandatory fundraising activities. This needs to be paid and cashiers to notify the Treasurer by Friday, 25th February so that the Fundraising Committee can commence planning for the year.
Fundraiding is an important part of keeping Je Joue Playgroup running. It helps keep our fees low and able to purchase new supplies and toys throughout the year.
Each group will have a specific Inside and Outside time which will be specified on the notice board in the hall. These times are agreed with the Kindergarden to fit in with their schedule and we ask that they are adhered to.
General reminders about Kent Road
- Kent Road is NUT FREE. This must be strictly adhered to for the well being of all children who attend the facility.
- No food out side of the hall in the playground.
- Please leave all facilities as you would like to find them - this includes keeping the shed, art cupboard, back room in the hall, kitchen and dressing up trolley tidy. At the end of your session please vacuum the floor, pack away all toys and equipment, wash and dry any dishes used and remove all rubbish. If we all pitch in to keep Kent Road in good order it will not fall on one group or a few people to spend time sorting out the mess rather than playing with their children.
If you have any questions, please e-mail us on email@example.com.
